ABOUT

Bec has been practising yoga for more than 20 years with particular focus on  Meridian yoga. Seeing the positive effects this particular style had on her and those around her inspired Bec to want to share these benefits with others.

In 2010, Bec completed her first formal yoga teaching certification in a form of Japanese yoga adopts the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine to balance energy within the meridian system.

Shortly afterward, in 2011 she studied Yin Yoga with Paul Grilley in Singapore. This greatly complemented her yang yoga practice and expand her knowledge of anatomy meridians and the chakra system.

When back in Australia, Bec continued to teach and eventually became a mother to her first daughter, Ava.

To further expand on her skills she went on to study Shiatsu bodywork for two years with Andzej Gospodarczyk of Ryoho Wellness.

Bec then specialised in Women’s Health yoga, and Yoga for specific conditions. Studying pre and post natal yoga with Lisa Masters of The Yoga House, and attending Womens Health yoga  with Lisa Foster of Ryoho Wellness. 

In addition to this Bec studied corrective meridian yoga for injury and illness with Andzej Gospodarczyk of Ryoho Wellness. 

Soon after this, Bec gave birth to her second daughter, Chloe. In 2018 Bec gained her Children's Yoga certification from Zenergy Yoga and uses these skills when families come along to the studio.

In 2020 & 2021 Bec completed her Level 1 & 2 Acupressure certification with John Kirkwood of The Acupressure Centre. Bec implements these teachings into her bodywork treatments.

Bec has just completed Yin Yoga and Meditation training with Tiffany Cruikshank & Dr. Rashmi Bismark of Yoga Medicine. She is currently furthering her pranayama training with Mark Breadner and will undertake Level 3 Acupressure training later in the year.

Bec is a member of Yoga Alliance, International Institute for Complimentary Therapists, and is a senior registered teacher with Yoga Australia.

Bec has taught yoga in many locations including Five Dock Leisure Centre, Annette Kellerman Aquatic Centre, Newtown Gym, Crunch Fitness, Virgin Active, Ryoho Yoga Centre, Rozelle Community College, Burwood Council, The Hannaford Centre, and at her studio in Rozelle.

Bec continues to grow under the tutelage of her teachers and mentors, and looks forward to using her therapeutic tools to help people on the road to better health, and a better quality of life.
